Eric Linden Bio

"Rock and Roll swagger with a poet's soul." That's how Knife River Records describes Eric Linden's debut album Burning up the Marquee. The album ricochets between indie rock, jangle pop, and garage rock.  It features the hits 3000 Pieces of Me and Chasing You as well as the brand new single Tripping All Over Myself.

Eric Linden is a songwriter and guitarist from Minneapolis.  He began writing and recording the album in the lockdown winter of 2019.  He wrote and recorded a demo a week for twenty weeks as part of a virtual songwriter's circle with longtime friends. Recording the album involved online collaborations with musicians from coast to coast, from Philadelphia to San Francisco. Eric recruited talent from across the globe from his home state of North Dakota to as far away as Latvia.

Eric's song "All and Everything" was chosen as the theme song for The WIld Ones virtual retreat. His music has been played on 89.1 KNNZ FM and 90.1 Pioneer Radio.  It's been played on podcasts including Fountains of Splain and New Music Saturday. Eric has also been featured on blogs like Abominations and London Peaky.
